Learning Enhancement
Assessments are tools that enhance the learning of students in:
- Content and subject specific skills
- 21st century skills
- Personal social emotional learning
The content and skill assessments will be a continuous process achieved through a high frequency of **AFL (Assessment for Learning)** techniques in the classroom using a wide range of digital platforms.
High-Stake Assessments
The end of term and end of year assessments will be the high-stake tests, conducted as per a pre-defined syllabus.
Focusing on academic rigour and comprehensive understanding.
Early Years

Continuous observational assessments, based on anecdotal records, photographs, rubrics and student work samples help staff to identify any children that need more support to achieve the objective and those that need challenge.

Primary School
Grades 1 & 2
Assessments in the Primary school are continuous and comprehensive. Students graded on classwork, homework, subject enrichment activities, collaborative work, project work, students' effort and teachers' observations. They help measure students' progress during the academic term.
"There are no formal examinations in Grades 1 and 2, however the 21st century skills, personal, social and emotional development and subject specific skills assessed based on a set rubrics."
